You can be caught off-handed anytime nowadays if you're oblivious to your surroundings. When you have grown into your little familiar world, you know every bird chirpings and rustle of wind, you are very wrong when you feel that you're safe.
That's what I used to think. Until my house got broken into last night.
Even though we were all scared and frustrated that the incident happened, we were all very thankful to God that at least we are all safe and breathing. Not slaughtered off like those unfortunate souls you tend to read about everyday in the news.
We think that this is a dugaan from Allah SWT, and we can only pray that the incident won't happen again, semoga Allah menggantikan dengan ganjaran yang lebih baik nikmatnya daripada apa yang telah diambil oleh-Nya.
The valuables that we have lost away to that rotten fella who broke in, mungkin semua itu ditakdirkan untuk hanya dipinjamkan sementara kepada kita. Tak ada rezeki nak simpan lama-lama. Subhanallah.
